It was released in 2013 starring Aamir Khan, Jackie Shroff, Uday Chopra, Katrina Kaif, Abhishek Bachchan, Andrew Bicknell and Tabrett Bethell. It’s the third film in Dhoom series. Despite a mixed to negative critical reaction, the film managed to make over 533 crore rupees worldwide. It performed very well oversees and is the highest grossing bollywood movie in Oversees Market.
2. Chennai Express ($68 million)

Chennai Express is a 2013 Indian comedy action film directed by Rohit Shetty and distributed by UTV Motion Pictures. The movies starred Shahrukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Nikitin Dheer, Sathyaraj, Lekh Tandon, Kamini Kaushal and Mukesh Tiwari. It is the 2nd highest grossing Bollywood film of all time grossing over 422 crore rupees on the budget of 75 crore rupees. Chennai Express is also the fourth highest-grossing Bollywood film overseas. The film tells the story of a man’s journey from Mumbai to Rameshwaram and his story of falling in love with the daughter of a local don. It received mixed reaction from critics but received a lot of love and money from audience.
3. 3 Idiots ($63 million)
Budget: 35 crore
Gross: 392 crore
3 Idiots is an Indian coming of age Comedy-drama film directed by Rajkumar Hirani and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. It was released in 2009 and starred Aamir Khan, R. Madhavan, Sharman Joshi, Kareena Kapoor, Boman Irani, Omi Vaidya, Mona Singh and Rahul Kumar. The film was a Huge Box-office success grossing 392 crore rupees worldwide. It was critically acclaimed by audiences and critics alike. 3 Idiots is the 1st Bollywood movie to reach 300 crore mark. It was remade in Tamil as Nanban which was also a critical and commercial success. Stephen Chow announced to make a Chinese remake of 3 Idiots and Hollywood is also planning to remake it in United States.
4. Ek Tha Tiger ($50 million)

Ek Tha Tiger is an Indian spy thriller film directed by Kabir Khan and produced by Aditya Chopra. It was a huge box-office success making over 310 crore rupees. Ek Tha Tiger recieved negative reviews from critics. It starred Salman Khan, Ranvir Shorey, Katrina Kaif and Roshan Seth. The film tells the story of an Indian spy who falls in love with a Pakistani spy during an investigation and their subsequent escape from their respective agencies.
5. Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani ($49 million)

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani is a Bollywood Romantic comedy film starring Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Kalki Koechlin, Aditya Roy Kapur, Kunaal Roy Kapur, Evelyn Sharma and Farooq Sheikh. It was directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Karan Johar. It is the eighth highest grossing Bollywood films in overseas markets.
6. Krrish 3 ($49 million)

Gross: 304 crore
Krrish 3 is a superhero fiction film produced and directed by Rakesh Roshan. Starring Hrithik Roshan, Vivek Oberoi, Priyanka Chopra, Kangna Ranaut and Rajpal Yadav, it was released in 2013. Despite negative reviews, Krrish 3 was a Blockbuster earning over 304 crore rupees. It is the third film in Krrish series and hopefully, the last.
7. Dabangg 2 ($40 million)

Gross: 250 crore
Dabangg 2 is a Bollywood Action comedy film directed by Arbaaz Khan and starring Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, Arbaaz Khan, Mahi Gill, Prakash Raj and Vinod Khanna. It is a sequel to Dabangg which is the 9th highest grossing bollywood movie. The film was a box-office success and made 250 crore rupees. However, the critical reception was mixed and it was nominated for Golden Kela Awards for worst film.
8. Bodyguard ($37 million)

Gross: 230 crore
Bodyguard is directed by Siddique and distributed by Reliance Entertainment. It was released in 2011 and starred Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Hazel Keech, Raj Babbar and Aditya Pancholi. Bodyguard was a major box-office success grossing over 200 crore Indian rupees. It still holds the record for highest opening day grosser.
9. Dabangg ($34 million)

Dabangg was directed by Abhinav Singh Kashyap and produced by Arbaaz and Malaika Arora Khan. It was released in 2010 and was a major Box_office success. The film cast inculdes Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Sonakshi Sinha , Vinod Khanna, Sonu Sood, Mahesh Manjrekar, Om Puri, Anupam Kher, Mahi Gill and Dimple Kapadia. Its success spawned a sequel Dabangg 2, also a blockbuster. Dabangg is the highestgrossing Bollywood film of 2010. The story revolves around a cop named Chulbul Pandey.

Jab Tak Hai Jaan was released in November 2012 and starred Shahrukh Khan, Anushka Sharma, Katrina Kaif, Anupam Kher and Rishi Kapoor. Directed by late Yash Chopra and distributed by Yashraj Films, the film was highly successful oversees and made 211 crore rupees worldwide. It is the fifth-highest-grossing Bollywood film of all time overseas. Jab Tak Hai Jaan follows the story of a Bomb-Disposal expert Samar Anand which recounts his days as an immigrant in London and his love story with Meera Thapar.
