The beginning of 2014 starts the award season. There are music awards, film awards, etc. We are presenting a list of people that usually do not receive an award for the category of Highest Paid Hollywood Actors. However, we will present accolades for them below.
10.Will Smith
Will Smith became a money maker at an early age when he and DJ Jazzy Jeff began their music careers together. They moved on to television fame in the popular sitcom, “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.” Smith’s talent was recognized by Hollywood. He began to show up in many blockbuster movies such as, Independence Day (1996), Men In Black (1997) and Enemy of the State (1998), to name a few. His latest film was After Earth (2013). This film took in over $27 million during its opening weekend. Will Smith tops our highest paid hollywood actors list at number 10 with an income of $30 million.
9. Johnny Depp
Johnny Depp comes in at number 9 with an income of 30 million. He continues to enthrall his fans with his acting style. Depp seems to enjoy characters that exude a dark personality such as Sweeny Todd in Sweeny Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007). He has also brought to life funny, odd characters such as Edward Scissorhands in Edward Scissorhands (1990) or Jack Sparrow in The Pirates of the Caribbean movies.
8. Sacha Baron Cohen
This British born actor became popular in the United States with his performance as Julien in Madagascar (2005). Many will remember him from Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan (2006) where he performed as the main character, Borat. His talents and good looks have boosted him to number 8 in 10 with an income of $30 million. He has recently starred in Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues (2013).
7. Ben Stiller
Stiller comes from a family of comedians and he delivers performances that show comedy is in his blood. Not only is he talented as an actor, he also writes, directs and produces. He has written several episodes for Saturday Night Live. He wrote and starred in The Ben Stiller Show (1992 – 1993). Stiller directed Zoolander (2001) and, most recently, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (2013). This multi-talented actor is paid $33 million.
6. Cameron Diaz
Beauty, brains and money—this is Cameron Diaz. She is paid $34 million. Diaz has an extensive acting career. It began with her appearance in The Mask (1994) with Jim Carey. Diaz began her career as a model. Her looks and voice were used for the character of Princess Fiona in the blockbuster hit movie Shrek (2001). She is known for her comedic roles in such films as My Best Friend’s Wedding (1997), There’s Something About Mary (1998) and Charlie’s Angels (2000). She is also versatile in her acting style. She has given more serious performances in Any Given Sunday (1999) and Gangs of New York (2002).
5. Kristen Stewart
The youngest of the highest paid Hollywood actors is Kristen Stewart. This 23 year old gets paid a whopping $34.5 million. You may recognize her as Bella Swan from the Twilight movies. Early in her career, however, she has worked alongside such actors at Jodie Foster and Forest Whitaker in Panic Room (2002). As an actress, she puts 100% into her roles. It is reported that she perform the majority of her stunts as Snow White in the movie Snow White and the Huntsman (2012). She also prepared for her role in Welcome to the Rileys (2010) by learning to pole dance, among other questionable activities.
4. Dwayne Johnson
Johnson is next on our list of highest paid Hollywood actors. He is The Rock! His reported income is $36 million. He began his career as a wrestler. He took the wrestling arena by storm and did the same on the big screen. Johnson has more than 80 films to his credit. He is known for his role in the Fast & Furious movies as agent Luke Hobbs. You may also remember seeing Johnson get Punk’d in 2003 while he was filming Be Cool (2005).
3. Adam Sandler
Sandler is considered to be one of the most overpaid actors in Hollywood. Nevertheless, he is paid! $37 million places at number 3 on our list. It does not matter if he is considered to be overpaid, the public loves him. Most of his characters are a little corny, a little kooky and funny at times throughout his movies. He has many movies in his repertoire. Happy Gilmore (1996) is a favorite of many. Some of his other films include Waterboy (1998), 50 First Dates (2004) and Mr. Deeds (2002). He is working on a movie scheduled to be released around mid-2014 called Blended.
2. Leonardo DiCaprio
This young actor has made his mark in Hollywood. DiCaprio gives his audience an outstanding performance in any film in which he is cast. His acting style and characters seem to be similar to those of another one of our highest paid Hollywood actors, Johnny Depp. Some characters are eccentric and distant, like his character, Jay Gatsby, in The Great Gatsby (2013). He has come a long way from playing the strong-willed character of Jack Dawson in Titanic (1997). Even during his days during and after Titanic fame, it is reported that Kate Winslet believed him to be the best actor in his generation. He is paid $37 million.

Drum roll, please! Our number one highest paid Hollywood actor with an income of $75 million is none other than Tom Cruise. This acting powerhouse began his career back in 1981 with a small part in Endless Love. And the rest, as they say, is history. With and array of big screen movies under his belt, this father and seasoned actor has created a place for himself in history.
