When you start thinking of the popularity of comics, one has to think about all the different comic franchises of all times. When I started thinking about the top ten, I looked at the longevity of the comics and if they were able to be put on television and the movies. As I list them I am sure there will be some people who disagree with my picks, but let’s see.
10. Thor
He was very popular as a comic and has been made into two movies, who could leave off the Norse God, Thor flies in at number 10.
9. Fantastic Four
They are a very popular group and they have been around for a while. They also have a couple of movies to their credit; The Fantastic Four stretches in at number 9.
8. Hulk
Now this jolly green giant has been around for a while. He has had movies made about him, comics and even television show. Coming in at number 8 is The Incredible Hulk.
7. Captain America
Some people will disagree with this pick, but I will stand by it, because of how long he has been around. The red, white and blue hero has had movies made about him, and way back he had his own television show. How can we forget the Captain? Captain America comes in at number 7.
6. Wolverine
One of the wise cracking comics of all time. He has done well by himself and as a member of group, but I could not leave him off the group because he might come find me and that would not be good. Coming in at number 6, star as a comic and movies…Wolverine.
5. Wonder Woman
Now we are getting in to the top 5 and this is when it is going to get interesting. I am going to break ranks with this one because she cannot be forgotten. She is one of the few female to make the move to television all by herself, but we cannot forget Wonder Woman.
4. X-Men
Now this is one of the most popular selling comics of all time and has had numerous movies made about it. This is one of the most popular groups of all time, but we are going to put one of the best groups in at number 4. How about the popular X-Men?
3. Superman
Well he has been around for a while, had television shows, movies and comics made about him. He has not been as popular recently, but still one of the all-time greats, the Man of Steel, Superman!
2. Spiderman
Again one of the all-time most popular comics of all time. He has had comics, television shows, movies and video games made about him, how could we ever forget the popular web slinger, The Amazing Spiderman?
1. Batman
Well now we have reached number 1: Now this guy has had television shows, comics, movies and some of the most popular video games out there, but the Dark Knight checks in at number 1,
