There were a lot of Blockbuster movies released in 2013 like Iron Man 3, Despicable Me 2, Frozen, Monsters University, Man of Steel, Gravity, Star Trek into Darkness, Thor: The Dark World, World War Z, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Fast & Furious 6, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, The Croods, Now You See Me, The Wolverine, Pacific Rim, Oblivion, Elysium, Oz The Great and Powerful but there were also the ones which didn’t even make a profit. R.I.P.D. is a 3D Supernatural comedy film based on the comic book Rest In Peace Department. It starred Jeff Bridges, Ryan Reynolds, Mary-Louise Parker, Kevin Bacon, James Hong, Stephanie Szostak, Marisa Miller. One of the biggest money-losers in 2013, RIPD only made $78 million on a budget of $130 million. It was critically panned universally.

Peeples starred Kerry Washington, Craig Robinson, David Alan Grier , S. Epatha Merkerson, Diahann Carroll, Tyler James Williams. It is a comedy movie presented by Tyler Perry. Peeples made $9 million with a budget of $15 million.
